Weekend, managed to work some time on the run 4 fun app:
- Updated the layout on the scoreboard for position 1, 2 & 3. Also made it available when an event is ongoing (running) so it becomes more a “live” overview:
I also noticed that the calculation of the board had some flaws, so I switched over to a multi-map collection instead. Google guave seemed a bit over-qualified for the calculations in this app.
- Added gaming elements for a score-card (for a runner to start-stop lapse registration):
- I added an indicator on the progress (current vs previous position on the scoreboard at every stop of a lapse). This should work as a motivator.
- The startpage got a little refreshment:
- When an event has ended a runner can see the final position from the sign-up form:
- I started to write down some administrative instructions and group them in a dialog:
- I also imported the used jar files under Code \ Jars just to make sure the app should work from scratch. I suggest to install them on the Domino server and remove them from the design though.
